The technological development of methane recovery processes following biogas upgrading faces a significant downstream issue. Developing new processes to minimize methane emissions into the atmosphere is a critical challenge.
Objectives
The primary objective is to develop an energy-efficient, environmentally low-impact technology by coupling physical, chemical, and biotechnological processes.
Expected results
At the intersection of optimizing biogas upgrading processes, designing biosourced CH₄ absorption systems, and in situ enzymatic CH₄ catalytic transformation, METHA‑SPRAY will contribute to the development of a biosourced technology adaptable to various purification systems and capable of addressing the issue of CH₄‑laden gas vents.
